The Board of Administration oversees the work of CRP-Santé. It is responsible for the general organization, for budget control, for framework contracts with partner organisations and for approving new strategy. Board members are nominated for a period of five years by the Minister of Health.

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is a consultative body to the Board of Administration and is composed of high ranking external scientists. The SAB’s composition reflects the scientific areas in which CRP-Santé is active. Its main task is:
- to advise on the strategic and scientific orientations of CRP-Santé
- to provide a scientific evaluation of the research units
