The CRP-Santé animal facility is a high quality infrastructure allowing animal experimentation under strictly controlled conditions (specific pathogen free facility). Hygienic standards and internal regulations follow the guidelines and recommendations of the FELASA.
PRESENTATION
The CRP-Santé is running a specific pathogen free (SPF) animal facility for rodents. The facility follows the FELASA guidelines regarding the health status of the animals, as well as the EU-based ethical guidelines for the maintenance and experimentation on small laboratory animals.
The maintenance and wellbeing of the animals is taken care of by two animal care assistants working for the facility.
