2011 - 12 - 19 Award
Katja Tiemann, PhD student in the Norlux Neuro-Oncology Laboratory and affiliated with the newly created Molecular Biomedicine Doctoral School of the University of Luxembourg, has received a grant award of 20'000€ from the “Fondation du Pélican de Mie et Pierre Hippert-Faber” (Pelican Foundation).
Three grants have been donated by the foundation to the PhD school and Katja was one of the three selected prize winners.
This money is dedicated to finance exchange visits, conference participation and special training workshops that will contribute to achieve excellence in her research.
