2011 - 12 - 03 Clinical Research: publication coming soon
Following the Clinical Research Day which was held last October, the Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC) will publish a post-conference booklet in the next couple of weeks in partnership with Semper magazine.This publication will focus on the main topics highlighted during the Clinical Research Day such as the progress of clinical research in Luxembourg accomplished thanks to the participation of researchers, clinical investigators and their patients, but also to the involvement of healthy volunteers.
This post-conference booklet will also underline the poster session which gathered more than 30 posters. The Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center has especially realized an outstanding work by realizing 8 posters thanks to the collaboration of research nurses, data managers and clinical research associates of the research unit. These posters have especially brought forward studies on diabetes, lung cancer, nutrition and many other aspects regarding the conduct of clinical studies according to current legal and regulatory standards. The center has already established a strong network gathering hospitals, medical doctors, researchers and patient associations thanks to Luxclin, the portal dedicated to Clinical Research in Luxembourg.
