2010 - 10 - 27 Collaborations in Shanghai and Beijing
Collaborations in Shanghai and Beijing - In order to strengthen collaborations between Luxembourg and China in the field of Biological research and medicine, CRP-Santé hosted a special conference in Shanghai focusing on Personalized Medicine on October 18th 2010.
This important conference, organized in strong partnership with the Biohealth Cluster / Luxinnovation and for which other Luxembourg life science partners joined, aimed at promoting the biomedical research and industry of Luxembourg. CRP-Santé delegates were invited by the Luxembourg Embassy in Beijing to meet additional Chinese partners at their premises.
Biomedical companies such as Shanghai’s Roche Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Merk Sharp & Dohme, AstraZeneca or Novartis (China) actively took part in this meeting.
This conference also looked at establishing long-term cooperation with government agencies, institutions which develop in the area of biological and pharmaceutical research as well as companies. Finally, this was an opportunity to look for integration of western and eastern biomedical research.
