2011 - 04 - 18 Congratulations to Michel Vaillant
Michel Vaillant, Biostatistician at CRP-Santé – Competence Centre in Methodology and Statistics (CCMS), has successfully passed his PhD thesis on December 17, 2010 on the following topic “Implementation of a new treatment strategy on a vector-born parasitic disease: the malaria case, therapeutic practices and consequences on the epidemiology of P. falciparum malaria in Casamance, Senegal, 1996-2009”.
Michel Vaillant defended his thesis at the University Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2 during more than 2 hours and was evaluated by a committee composed of experts coming from the public health field. He was strongly congratulated on the quality of his work and his oral presentation. The thesis has received the recognition of the expert evaluation committee and Michel Vaillant received the thesis grade A pass.
