2012 - 01 - 28 Election as a board member of the EFGCP
Dr. Anna Chioti, Head of the Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC) has just been elected as a board member of the EFGCP (European Forum of Good Clinical Practice ), which took place on January 24, 2012 during the annual general assembly meeting of EFGCP in Brussels.
EFGCP is a non-profit organisation established by and for individuals with a professional involvement in the conduct of biomedical research. Its purpose is to promote good clinical practice and encourage the practice of common, high-quality standards in all stages of biomedical research throughout Europe. As a board member, Dr. Chioti will contribute to drive the mission of EFGCP, seeing her experience and knowledge of the main aims of interest to EFGCP, which are also in line with the vision of the CIEC and CRP-Santé.
This role, combined with the recent membership of the CIEC to the European Clinical Research Infrastructures Network (ECRIN ), will allow to further promote the highest standards in good clinical practice in Luxembourg and beyond. It is also an excellent opportunity for CRP-Santé and for Luxembourg to be in the driving seat regarding biomedical research in Europe.
