2011 - 10 - 29 FNR Awards – Outstanding promotion of the scientific culture for CRP-Santé
November 26, 2011 - The FNR has just held the third FNR Awards, with the aim of promoting communication activities in the field of science and research, whether with other researchers or with the general public, and young people in particular.
The category “Outstanding Promotion of Scientific Culture” rewards those individuals – researchers and non-researchers alike – who contribute to communicating science to the general public and, through their actions, bring science and technology to the attention of young people. CRP-Santé was selected for an award in this category thanks to the work of Danièle Moes, Anne-Marie Ternes and Monika Dieterle for the “Experimental Cosmetics” workshop and the Science Café “Wissenschaft in der Werbung” presented during the Researchers’ Night 2010. Before the ceremony, the CRP-Santé team had the opportunity to summarize the work which was previously done and received a 5.000 € recognition. CRP-Santé has also received a diploma for supporting the promotion of scientific culture within different events as the Researchers, or the Science festival.
FNR awards have also rewarded the outstanding publications for 2010. Last year CRP-Santé had received a prize in this category thanks to the work from Dr. Niclou and the Norlux Neuro-oncology team.
