2011 - 11 - 17 Monitoring system of accidents and traumas
The Centre for Health Studies has been ordered by the Minister of Health to set up in Luxembourg a monitoring system of accidents and traumas called RETRACE in partnership with the “Direction de la Santé” and the five public hospitals in Luxembourg (Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch, Centre Hospitalier du Nord, Hôpital Kirchberg et Zithaklinik).
This monitoring system will bring information on the type of accidents and traumas which the population is victim of, their severness in order to develop policies on adapted prevention. Luxembourg joins other European countries in the public health approach integrating traumas.
