2011 - 02 - 16 Relais pour la vie
On March 12-13, 2011, CRP-Santé will actively take part in the “Relais pour la Vie ” organized by the “Fondation Cancer”. CRP-Santé will be involved at two different levels:
- First, a master team (24H) will have the opportunity to run for the fight against cancer: 40 participants from CRP-Santé (employees and their families) will participate (even at night) in the race,
- Secondly, and for the first time, the “Relais pour la Vie” has set up a unique workshop on biomedical research gathering the key actors in the field of Oncology from CRP-Santé, the University of Luxembourg , The Luxembourg Center for Systems Biology (LCSB) and the Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg (IBBL).

For this occasion, CRP-Santé employees have prepared a comic strip on cancer research, an effort initiated and led by Amandine Bernard, member of the Norlux Neuro-Oncology team. This workshop will also provide an overview on different cancer research projects currently developed at CRP-Santé. Finally, a video with the title “Life within a research unit” will be presented: a young, dynamic team specialized in the oncology field working in close collaboration with the University of Bergen in Norway: the Norlux team. All these initiatives are developed under the leadership of Simone Niclou Head of the Norlux Neuro-Oncology Laboratory , assisted by Anais Oudin, Amandine Bernard, Virginie Baus and Christelle Ghoneim.
