SOFTWARE
Different software are available for image analysis like measurements, cell tracking, deconvolution and 3D reconstruction.
● Metamorph from Molecular Devices. The software is dedicated to 2D images display and processing. It allows also various measurements such as morphometric analysis or fluorescence quantification. For timelapse analysis, cell tracking function is available.
● Huygens from Scientific Volume Imaging (SVI). The software is dedicated to confocal pictures deconvolution. It allows restoration of blurry and noisy pictures and especially improves resolution in Z-axis. FreeSFP is a free rendering software from SVI.
● Imaris from Bitplane. The software is dedicated to confocal Z-stack observation. It allows different 3D reconstructions and animations (shadow projection, surface rendering...). It allows also several types of analysis as measurements and tracking in 3D.

● Zeiss LSM image browser , to view the lsm database on your own PC;
